Hi, my name is Joshua Alcazar. Baseball has been a major part of my life for years, and it has shaped me both as an athlete and as a person. I am currently continuing my college baseball career, and through that experience I’ve developed a strong work ethic, discipline, and a desire to grow beyond just playing. My long-term goal is to build a future in coaching and mentoring athletes who want to reach their full potential.

Last summer, I had the opportunity to attend Texas Baseball Ranch as an athlete. That experience had a big impact on me and changed the way I see training, development, and the mental side of the game. Being surrounded by high-level coaches and players pushed me to improve and gave me a better understanding of what it takes to compete and grow. Because of that, I’m now pursuing an internship there so I can continue learning while gaining real coaching and mentorship experience.

While continuing my college career, I want to take the next step by learning how to teach the game, work with athletes, and understand player development at a deeper level. This internship gives me the chance to do that in a hands-on environment.

I’m asking for support to help cover my living expenses during the internship, including housing, food, transportation, and other basic needs. This support will allow me to fully commit my time and energy to the experience without worrying about day-to-day costs.

My goal is to complete the internship with more knowledge, experience, and confidence so I can continue growing in baseball and eventually give back by helping other players improve both on and off the field.
