Josepha Littlewolf Thunderheart Basurto, beloved daughter of Sharlisa Mountainlion Una Sam, was tragically murdered, leaving her family devastated and facing an unimaginable loss. This heartbreaking event has brought about unexpected expenses, as the family must travel from Utah to California to lay Josepha to rest. The suddenness of this tragedy means there was no way to prepare for the costs of burial, travel, hotel stays, and food during this difficult time.

 In addition to the funeral and travel expenses, Josepha leaves behind children who now need extra support. Her husband is now facing the challenge of supporting their children as a widower, navigating this new reality while grieving the loss of his partner. Funds raised will help provide school clothes and essentials for the children, as well as support Josepha’s husband in caring for their family. The family will also need additional funding for travel expenses related to upcoming court proceedings, as they seek justice for Josepha. Every contribution will help ease the financial burden on the family, allowing them to focus on honoring Josepha’s memory, supporting the children left behind, and pursuing justice.
