<div>This is a call to my family, friends, and anyone who is willing to give a helping hand. We are raising funds for Jose Valdez Lozano - who 6 months ago was diagnosed with a devastating disease called "Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis", known as "ALS." Unfortunately, this disease has no cure, and it is consuming him aggressively, deteriorating him day by day. It began with a severe headache, loss of movement of his arms, and legs. Now it is affecting his speech, now he not only depends on a wheelchair, but also depends on a respirator. He is not fending for himself at the moment, but nevertheless he tries to keep fighting for his life, adapting to his new lifestyle.

<div>José is 48 years old, has 3 children (a 21-year-old son, a 24-year-old and 2-year-old daughter). He is a kind-hearted person; he does not have any bad habits and is an excellent son and exemplary father.

<div>His condition is not easy (it's a disease where one feels trapped in the mind of one's own body). God knows why he does things. José wants to keep fighting and that encourages us to continue helping him; this is why this call is to collect funds for his health and provide him with a better lifestyle/quality of life.

<div>With my heart in my hand, I ask for your help. The money raised will help cover medical expenses and therapies that are required for José. All funds raised will be given to José and his family. God is always good, as long as there is life, there is hope. We will never lose faith.

<div>Esto es un llamado para mi familia, amistades y para cualquier persona que se toque el corazon con este pedido. Estamos recolectando fondos para Jose Valdez Lozano, quien hace 6 meses fue diagnosticado con una enfermedad debastadora “Esclerosis lateral amiotrófica, conocida como “ELA”. Lamentablemente esta enfermedad no tiene cura &amp; lo va consumiendo agresivamente, deteriorandole dia a dia. Empezo con un fuerte dolor de cabeza, perdida de movimiento de sus brazos y piernas. Ahora le está afectando el hablar, ahora no solo depende de una silla de ruedas, sino depende de un respirador. Él no se vale por sí mismo en estos momentos, pero sin embargo el trata de seguir luchando por su vida, adaptándose a su nuevo estilo de vida.

<div>La condición de él no es fácil (enfermedad atrapada en la mente de su cuerpo), solo Dios sabe porque hace las cosas. José quiere vivir y eso nos emplusa a seguir ayudándole y por esto es este llamado de colectar fondos para su salud y brindarle un mejor estilo/ calidad de vida.
