<div>Hello everyone, our names are Jorge Nicolás and Maria Benitez, On April 9th ​​we were arrested by Border Patrol in the state of Michigan when we were leaving work, my husband and I were held on ICE custody, he was detained for 30 days and I for 35 days.We are free thanks to the fact that our case qualified for a bond, my bond was $35,000 and my husband's was $10,000. Thanks to family and friends that were able to gather the money to get us out of there, we are free but our case is still ongoing to stop the deportation of both of us and obtain a work permit.

<div>By order of an immigration Judge,  we are not allow to work or drive for a period of 3 to 6 months until we have that work permit and therefore a driver's license. We are going through difficult times, especially financially. The expenses are excessive, and we still have a pending payment of $7,500 each for the lawyer to continue with our cases. We continue to request your support, thanking you in advance for your good work and asking God to bless your families, jobs, and finances. My family greatly appreciates your support in this struggle.

<div>Hola a todos, nuestros nombres Jorge Nicolás y Maria Benitez, el pasado 9 de Abril fuimos arrestados por Border Patrol en el estado de Michigan cuando salíamos del trabajo, mi esposo y yo estuvimos presos en custodia de ICE, el estuvo detenido 30 días y yo 35 días, estamos libres gracias a que nuestro caso calificó para una fianza, mi fianza fue de $35,000 y la de mi esposo de $10,000. Gracias a familiares y amigos lograron reunir el dinero de las finanzas para sacarnos de ahí, estamos libres pero nuestro caso sigue en curso para detener la deportación de los dos y obtener un permiso de trabajo, por la misma razón no podemos trabajar ni manejar por un periodo de 3 a 6 meses hasta no tener ese permiso de trabajo y por ende una licencia para conducir. Estamos pasando momentos difíciles mayormente económicos, los gastos son demasiados y aún tenemos pendiente un pago de $7,500cada uno para que el abogado siga con nuestros casos, Seguimos solicitando de su apoyo agradeciendo de antemano su buena obra pidiendo a Dios que bendiga sus familias trabajos y finanzas, Mi familia agradece enormemente tu apoyo ante esta lucha.
