Support Jordyn's Light: Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support

My name is Angela Jessie, the proprietor and licensed massage therapist at Massage is Life, LLC. On August 5, 2020, I experienced the profound loss of my daughter Jordyn, a deeply challenging ordeal that continues to affect me. Throughout my grief journey, I discovered solace in aiding others, finding that supporting them also aids my healing process.
Two years ago, I initiated the provision of Grief Massages specifically tailored for mothers contending with the loss of pregnancy and infants within my massage practice. Initially intended to assist fellow "angel mamas," my aspirations transcended this initial effort as I yearned to extend further support. Over the past 7-8 months, I dedicated significant contemplation to the establishment of a nonprofit organization, envisioning a platform to aid families in need. This contemplation culminated in the inception of Jordyn's Light. In the recent month, I commenced the operational activities, including the pursuit of official recognition as a 501(c)3 entity, website development, compilation of resources for families, and the planning of forthcoming events and support gatherings.
All funds raised from this Gofundme campaign will go towards covering various startup costs and to cover expenses for our inaugural fundraising event. This includes office equipment, marketing materials, vendor setup supplies, initial memory box items, a Zoom subscription for virtual support groups, purchase books to create a library of grief support books and more.
