<div> In 2023, Jordan’s world was turned upside down. What doctors first dismissed as a torn muscle in her leg turned out to be something far more serious: Synovial Sarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. She was just a young mom with two small children, suddenly facing a fight for her life. After weeks of pain and swelling, Jordan and her husband were told that her condition was too complex for local specialists. They had to travel over six hours to Houston to seek care at MD Anderson, one of the only places equipped to treat her.

<div>And then, in the midst of the worst news of their lives, their insurance company denied nearly every aspect of her care—scans, biopsies, chemotherapy. Desperate to begin treatment, they spent over $60,000 out of pocket: draining their savings, their retirement, and leaning on family just to try to save her life. Eventually, they were able to change insurance providers—but by then, the emotional and financial toll was enormous.

<div>Then in March 2025, came the unthinkable: the cancer had returned, this time in her lungs. While Jordan was undergoing months of chemotherapy, their young son was diagnosed with autism. Her husband, while working full-time from home, also became their son’s primary caregiver—ensuring he receives the consistent support and therapies he needs until he’s old enough to attend a specialized preschool. Now, Jordan is still fighting. She’s juggling two jobs, ongoing treatment, and the everyday challenges of parenting two small children—while her husband balances work and caregiving. They are emotionally, physically, and financially exhausted.

A place where, even for just a few days, hospital visits and bills fade into the background, and all that remains is joy. She wants to see their faces light up with wonder, to hear their laughter, and to give them memories that will last a lifetime—especially if her time is shorter than anyone dares to say aloud.
