<div>Jonathan has been dealing with <strong><em>NF2</em></strong> his whole life. He has brain tumors called <strong>vestibular schwannomas</strong>, and they have recently flared up at a ridiculous rate, resulting in him getting a shunt implant to allow his cerebrospinal fluid to pass by them. Now they need to be removed by <strong>translabyrinthine craniotomy</strong>, and he will need an <strong>Auditory Brainstem Implant.</strong>

<div>We live in Virginia, and he (and his wife) will need to fly to (and from) California for the surgeries and stay in a hotel for two weeks after surgery, so he can recover and be there for his follow-up appointment.

<div>Your donations will be going directly to him, so that he can pay for his housing while recovering in San Diego. As well as assisting him in paying his monthly bills and insurance payments while he is out of work!
