His wife has been fighting cancer for over 3 years, he’s retired and is doing anything he can to help fund his wife’s expensive treatments and medication that the insurance isn’t covering. He stands outside with his sign almost everyday in this 100 degree heat. He also has his wife’s medical business cards on his sign. He told me his story with his wife and it is truly heartbreaking. They are both constantly in and out of doctors offices dealing with their own life threatening illnesses.
