<div>Johnny “V” Vernazza is a renowned slide and lead guitarist, celebrated for his collaborations with legendary artists such as Elvin Bishop, Carlos Santana, Coco Montoya, Jerry Garcia, and Steve Miller. Born in San Francisco and raised in Daly City, Vernazza began his musical journey in the vibrant 1960s Bay Area scene.

Johnny “V” is celebrated for his collaboration with legendary artists Chuck Berry, Carlos Santana, Jerry Garcia, Commander Cody, Greg Allman, and George Thorogood.

His enduring passion for music continues to influence and inspire both audiences and fellow musicians.

<div>Some three years ago, Johnny was diagnosed with throat cancer. The radiation treatments caused significant tissue damage that resulted in three surgeries, with more planned. With insurance companies refusing selected coverage, the financial catastrophe has landed on Johnny Vernazza and his family.
