My loving father, John Antonsen lost his life to cancer that he had been fighting since September 2019. He was 60 years old. It started in his esophagus and later spread all along his spine and in multiple areas of his brain. Since we got news that it spread from the doctors, we spent the last week of his life with him in the hospital. My mom Tracie, my younger sister Alana, and I (Lindsay) are all on our own now. We may lose our home and are not financially capable of taking care of ourselves right now. Any help that can be provided, for his memorial service or to help our family would be so helpful to us during this time of grief and sorrow. Five years ago we lost my older sister, Christy, due to a life-threatening disorder she had. Our hearts are deeply pained because our family has been cut in half. Alana will be a senior in high school this fall and I will be a junior in college this year. Our mom is currently unemployed as she was taking care of our dad all throughout his journey.
