Hi. My name is Chris and Joe McCormick is my brother and BFF. I’m starting this fundraiser in hopes of raising funds to cover the cost of a passport. He has been playing disc golf for 20 years or more. He volunteers ALL THE TIME for events, especially for ladies events. Where he lives is a disc golf desert. IF he were able to freely cross the Peace Bridge he could have his choice of 30+ disc courses to play in under a 1.5 hour drive. He would also be able to volunteer stateside.

Unfortunately Joe is disabled and lives off a very meager ODSP (Ontario Disability payment). He lives check to check and goes without so much. For example, he eats one meal a day so mentally and physically he is full when it is time to go to bed.

I have done as much as I can for Joe. I am also disabled and have my own expenses. I’m hoping we can rally around Joe and give him the freedom to explore the game he loves in western NY. Joe would be an asset to our area. He is an excellent coach, caddy, and friend.

All funds will go directly to Joe to cover his passport fee and buy him a few tanks of gas to get stateside.
