<div>A devastating tornado tore through their community, destroying their home and leaving them with virtually nothing. In a matter of minutes, everything they had worked so hard for was gone. Their home, furniture, clothing, personal belongings, family keepsakes, and the memories they built there were lost to the storm.

<div>As if this tragedy wasn’t enough, Joe has been unable to work due to the ongoing BP strike, which has left him locked out of his job and without income during an already difficult time. The financial strain of being out of work has made this disaster even more overwhelming for Joe and Marlene as they now face the unimaginable task of starting over from scratch.

<div>Anyone who knows Joe and Marlene knows they are hardworking, caring people who would give the shirt off their backs to help someone in need. Today, they are the ones who need the support of their family, friends, neighbors, and community.
