Support Joans battle with Cadasil

For those of you unaware, in 2014, Joan Cimarusti was diagnosed with an inherited and incurable disease called CADASIL. Over the last 4 years Joan's body and mind have slowly deteriorated, leaving her bed ridden and unable to care for herself. Joan’s wonderful family has been caring for her during this time, however the disease has progressed beyond what her family can handle. In order to manage her chronic pain and medical needs, she will need to be moved to a nursing home to care for her during her remaining years. 


My name is Chance, and I've been a close family friend of the Cimarusti’s for nearly a decade. My introduction to the family came when Gorgio and I became friends while working together as teenagers. I learned early on, that when you became friends with Gorgio, you also became friends with his entire family. Joan and family have always made me feel welcome, cared for, and part of the family.To me, the Cimarusti’s are my family. Joan’s illness has been a devastating, emotional, and financially challenging process for the family.

 

The Cimarusti’s need our help. Joan's living expenses and special care have exceeded the family’s abilities and they need our support to get them through this challenging time. It isn’t easy for hardworking families to ask for assistance during tough times, so I’m asking for them. Anything helps and is greatly appreciated.
