Many of you know my sister Jill. She has touched and impacted so many people throughout her life. She's an amazing woman who was dealt a very unfair card in life.
Her medical condition has gotten worse in the last 6 months. She was referred to Cleveland Clinic in Ohio on July 11th to see the Vascular/Pulmonary Surgeons. The infection specialist wants to start getting things together with Palliative Care. She had done multiple tests that confirmed that they cannot do any reconstruction of the superior Vena Cava and Subclavian vein that is completely blocked off. The fibrosing mediastinitis is taking over most of her right lung, superior and trachea. The tumors have moved into her trachea, which has been getting swollen even worse. She pulled from her pension for the July 11th appointment in Ohio (she can only withdraw once a year) to pay for what the insurance did not cover. She has upcoming appointments at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio on September 10th and 11th with the cardio/cardiothoracic/ENT to have 10 tests and small procedures to help the swelling from the tumors in the superior Vena Cava, both sides of the neck, and her right lung. She works hard every day just to pay for her medical supplies. To keep her upcoming appointments in Cleveland, Ohio, she needs a remaining $5000 that she isn’t able to cover herself.
As you can imagine, many things have changed for Jill recently, like sleeping in a recliner chair nightly to maintain safe oxygen levels. However, with the continued progression of the swelling, breathing, and swelling issues, she has multiple hospital bills that are not covered, everyday bills, and travel expenses going back and forth to Cleveland, Ohio, and Rochester multiple times a month. If you know Jill, she will help anyone and has. She has such a big group of family and friends that she has touched in her life. I feel if we could all give a little, it would add up. Jill would never ask for help, but I, as her niece, will, because Jill has gone above and beyond to help anyone she can in any way. Please do whatever you can to help, even a $1 a person adds up quickly! No amount is too small! Prayers are a huge help as well ❤️
