My name is Mindee Booth. I am starting a fundraiser for my longtime friend Jewels Knoke, who on August 27th was in a car accident causing some serious medical issues and totaling her car. Another driver was traveling at a high rate of speed when he ran a stop sign and collided with Jewels almost head-on. She had to be evacuated from the vehicle, and she sustained many injuries. Since that accident, she has had to have two different surgeries, and she has continued to have many follow-up doctor appointments plus ongoing physical therapy. This has left her unable to work since that date. The other driver, unfortunately, was underinsured and has left Jewels and her family to struggle with the financial responsibility of this accident.

I am asking for donations for her and her family so they can financially recover from this horrible accident. Jewels is an instructor at the College of Hair Design by trade. She teaches young barbers and cosmetologists about hair design. She is also the mayor of the town she lives in, Friend, NE. She is actively involved in her community as mayor and contributes to the ongoing needs of her town. She is a wife to Seth Knoke, a mother to her children and stepchildren, and is a foster parent as well. Jewels is a person who will help anyone in need. She has helped me more times than I can count. She did not deserve this horrible day and its repercussions. Please help if you can.
