Hello, my name is Jessy. My kids and I are trying to raise money to help my mom with cancer. She has recently been diagnosed with a rare peritoneal cancer as well as uterine cancer. Because of this she can no longer work, has no spouse, and while she is doing her best to find some kind of financial assistance none has been provided for her yet. We have been staying together because of this situation, however it seems that regardless how much I work, I still can not afford to pay moms bills, on top of the medical and the “normal” bills. I currently work two full time jobs and even though I put every effort into this, unfortunately financially it is just not enough. In addition, I am also a single parent supporting two kids so things were already challenging for me to begin with. We don’t have much family to help, and the family we do have are struggling themselves but still try to do everything they can. We have always tried to make our own way and to find happiness with what we have, however as many people know, this is not that kind of situation. I am trying to find any ways I can to maintain paying all of moms bills, ( at least the mortgage), medical bills, in addition to my own “normal” bills, but as much as I want to do this on my own, I have concluded that I just can’t do this alone. Unfortunately, I have exhausted my ability to get any more loans or a credit card, so this was our last resort. My mom taught all of us that we are on this earth to experience and give love to all, as well as trying to make the world better place when we leave, than when we came into it. She also taught us to always do the right thing, and not to give up or stop trying, because as long as you do the best you can things will work out . These are the mantras she has navigated her whole life with, and so I’m truly hoping that this one time the good that she has put forth into the world will come back to her. I believe that by reaching out to other people this once, we will be able to get through this financially and emotionally challenging time in our lives. We truly appreciate any and all help wether that is financial or just sending positive thoughts and prayers..Thank you all so much ❤️
