Over the past year, Jessica Miller has become one of the driving forces behind some of the most impactful grassroots organizing and mutual aid work in our community. As a leader with Indivisible Memphis and co-founder of The Collective Good: Immigrant Pantry, she has dedicated countless hours to helping others—organizing events, coordinating volunteers, advocating for vulnerable communities, and ensuring families in need had food on their tables. Through The Collective Good, Jessica has helped build an effort that provides food and essential supplies to thousands of people across the Mid-South, often working behind the scenes for long hours to make the program successful. When there was a need, Jessica showed up.

 Now, Jessica and her family need some support of their own. Two hospitalizations this year, ongoing medical challenges, missed work, and mounting medical expenses have created significant financial strain on their household. While Jessica focuses on her health and recovery, the bills have continued to pile up. Anyone who knows Jessica knows she is usually the person asking how she can help someone else. Asking for help for herself is not something that comes naturally, but no one should have to navigate a medical crisis alone.
