Support Jessica Lamb's Medical Journey

Hello there! My name is Jessica Lamb. And while I love to help other people, I find it really hard to ask for help myself. I’ve been battling a few health issues for about 6 months now, and for the past 2 months the comment of “Liposarcoma retroperitoneale” has been written

down. While this is not a diagnosis, just a possibility, I’m getting a little overwhelmed with medical bills from all of the tests. I’ve been referred to UAB and my first consultation is September 27th. While I’m not sure what’s going on, I do know expenses are already piling up . The mass I have will have to come out either way and I’m sure I’ll have to be out of work for a little bit. Any help will be appreciated, and always prayers are welcome. Again I hate asking for the help, but I’m going to need it. Thank you in advance.

Update after first visit at UAB:

I finally have a diagnosis, Retroperitoneal sarcoma. It’s going to be a journey. But the plans are to remove the sarcoma and I’ve got to

loose one kidney in the process. But after that, it’s looking very possible that will be the cure. I have to do 3 more tests, these will be done in Dothan, then sent to UAB. After my Dr gets them at UAB and makes sure everything is good for the surgery, we’ll schedule it. Goal is end of October. Recovery time is a week at UAB, then 6 weeks at home.
