<div>My name is Jessica Getridge. I’m married to the most wonderful man. I am also a mother of 3. 2 out of 3 of my children have fragile x syndrome. I am a carrier of fragile x. For anyone who does not know what  Fragile x is. Fragile x is genetic disorder caused by changes in a gene called fragile X messenger ribonucleoprotein 1 (FMR1). FMR1 usually makes a protein called FMRP that is needed for brain development. People who have FXS do not make this protein. Those with fragile X-associated disorders have changes in the FMR1 gene but usually still make some of the protein. we took a leap of faith and I am now a stay at home mom because our children need their mother and  We wanna bring awareness to this. Not a lot of people know they have fragile X syndrome and some  people that have autism have fragile x. They just aren’t tested for it because genetic testing is very expensive. We wanted to make this go fund me to help with some bills. We appreciate it. Thank you so much!
