<div>My name is Jessica and I am reaching out for support and prayers for my brother-in-law, Jesse Stankiewicz, and his family.

<div>Three weeks ago, Jesse started having severe nausea and headaches. At first, doctors thought it was the flu or a virus, but over the coming weeks, Jesse’s symptoms began to worsen. It got to the point where he could barely get out of bed. After an ER visit, a CT scan revealed a 6cm brain tumor on the right side of his frontal lobe, passing midline and causing his cognitive functions to decline. Doctors performed surgery on June 9th, the day after the tumor was discovered, and removed as much as they could. Following the surgery, the waiting began to see what type of tumor Jesse had and what that meant for the road ahead.

<div>On June16th, just a day after Father’s Day, Jesse and his family found out that the time they have left with him could be limited. <strong>Jesse has an aggressive grade 4 brain cancer called Astrocytoma (GBM). </strong>This news comes as a shock to us all as we try to grasp what the future may hold.

<div>For those that know Jesse, it is no secret that his children, Juliana (8), Liliana (10), and Jacob (13), are the light of his life. Jesse has always been a loving and caring father and has supported his children through much adversity. Liliana was diagnosed at age three with Metachromatic Leukodystrophy which is a rare genetic condition that causes a decline in mental and motor functions over time, and is ultimately terminal. Jesse has done so much to care for his children and all the special needs that come with Liliana’s condition. <strong>Jesse has been the sole provider for his family and is now facing the possibility that they will have to endure a future without him.</strong>

<div>Jesse’s treatment plan consists of several months of targeted radiation, chemotherapy and Optune therapy. <strong>We humbly ask that you join us as we pray for a miracle</strong>. All donations will go directly to Jesse and his family for medical expenses and cost of living while he undergoes treatment.
