My name is Jeridee, and I am a single mother to a special-needs child. On November 15, 2025, I experienced a life-changing household accident that left me with second-degree burns on 7% of my body, including my face, chest, back, and right arm. The pain and recovery process have been overwhelming, and I am currently receiving treatment at the burn center at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

Unfortunately, I do not have insurance and must pay for all of my medical care out of pocket. I am facing an emergency room bill, ambulance bill, and ongoing treatment expenses, all while being unable to work due to my injuries. On top of these medical costs, my regular household bills—rent, car payment, utilities, and more—are quickly piling up. As a mother, my greatest concern is making sure my child is cared for during this difficult time.
