This is my friend Jen she is a single mom of four and her daughter has currently been in the hospital 21 days straight with complications from her first surgery! She would never ask for help but she is very deserving of it! Even a share to get her word out there or a dollar! This is more about what she is going through! All donations will go straight to her for food, gas, bills to help with being off work for so long and taking care of her daughter to get back to being a healthy girl!

So to start with, Natalie has Hyper IgE syndrome. (I’ll send you a good definition of that) For the last 4 years, she’s had 2 pneumatoceles (air filled pockets that also have a bacteria inside of them that she is still being treated for on a daily antibiotic now for over a year) on her right lung that have gotten progressively worse & forced them to plan this surgery to remove them. (This surgery also needed to be done in preparation for a bone marrow transplant for next year. They couldnt do a BMT with those attached to her lung because if they popped in the middle of getting the BMT done, that could be detrimental.

By the beginning of this year they had taken up 85% of her lung and were pushing her heart over. When they went in to remove them, they had gotten so big that they were attached to her heart and her esophagus and they had to quite literally peel them off of those organs. Which then caused holes and air leaks all over her remaining right lung.

They’ve gone in multiple times trying to find the leaks, she now has 5 valves in her right lung. They did a blood patch last Friday on one of the leaks. (In which she had to be put on a vent overnight in an induced coma so she didn’t ruin what they had did by coughing or anything) That night was the worst definitely. And yesterday they found another small leak that started to move her heart over again. This also resulted in her needing another chest tube today, this is her 3rd one since we got here.
