<div>I’m creating this GoFundMe for my girlfriend, Jenn and her son. Recently, her car was totaled in a not at fault accident while helping a friend, and it’s been a HUGE and unexpected setback. This is especially due to the fact that now she has been advised that her only recourse is to seek an attorney to fight the at fault driver's insurance company, SF, for the compensation that she is rightfully owed due to being determined not at fault or cited for the accident by the police department on scene. We all know that it could take upwards of a year or more to even see any kind of damages awarded, as the legal system does take an abundance of time.

<div>She was already also in the process of finding a new place for them to move into by the end of the month, due to unforeseen circumstances that have made their current home unliveable. So, losing her car at this crucial time has made an already busy and stressful time even harder and could make finding reliable housing nearly impossible due to the strict timeframe at hand.

<div>Jenn works hard and has always taken care of things on her own, while taking pride in always dropping everything to help any friend in need, no questions asked. This situation hit out of absolutely nowhere and could not have been planned for in the slightest. Her car was a means of work, running errands for herself as well as others, and handling daily life as a single mom with many appointments for her son as she consistently navigates trying to find support for her son's diagnosed learning disabilities, which she unfortunately had to pull him from public schooling for, in order to get him the help he needs — and now she’s suddenly without transportation to do any of it.

<div>I’m starting this fundraiser to help get Jenn a reliable used car so that she and her son can stay mobile and continue handling everything they've got going on, while simultaneously trying to navigate the legal system. Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward helping her replace her car and move forward without that added stress, as it may already be a long road ahead.
