Hello friends,

I’m in need of some help. I’ve been unwell due to a traumatic brain injury I sustained last year, and I’m struggling to make ends meet. I haven’t been able to work as much as I need to due to the TBI. As I wait for my mother’s estate to settle, I’m in need of funds so I can stay in my apartment and not end up homeless. If you’re able to help in any way, I’d appreciate it. The funds will go directly to pay bills, rent, utilities, and food.

This is an embarrassing ask for me as I grew up with a mother who told me, “We don’t accept charity.” But it has come to this. I’m self-employed, so this says a lot about my situation. If I can’t work, I don’t get paid.
