As many of you know or have seen on the news, my nephew, Jeffrey Sikes, was in a horrific car accident on 6/28/24. What the news reported, however, was incorrect. Jeffrey was in the car when it exploded into flames and only by a pure miracle was he able to escape out of the sunroof. When the head-on collision happened, Jeffrey hit his face on the steering wheel causing severe facial injuries. He lost the majority of his top teeth and broke his maxilla bone in multiple places.
He has already had one surgery to stabilize the maxilla bone and will have to have a series of additional follow-up surgeries. His car insurance is only willing to pay $1,000 for his injuries. His medical costs so far have exceeded $10,000 and they will continue to grow. This 20-year-old young man, is the kindest, hard-working, and respectable person I know. He would literally give anyone the shirt off his back.
I know in this economy we are all struggling to make ends meet, but if you could donate a small amount we would be forever grateful. Any donation would take stress off of him and his parents while he continues to heal and deal with the physical and mental effects from the accident. If you cannot donate, we ask that you share this and continue to pray for his healing without any complications. Thank you!!
