<div>I'm Tiffany Knowlton, my mother, Jeanne, and my brother, Brandon, lost our long time family home in the Pacific Palisades fire recently (week of January 6, 2025). Our family home held family memories that are irreplaceable; for this reason, my mother didn't want to move out after my father died just 2 years ago. My father was beloved by many and most of his artwork (e.g., large canvas paintings) as well as the infamous creations of the McDonald's transforming French fry Happy Meal toy and others. My dad is known for aviation and automotive art as well. His large model and art book collections were destroyed in the fire. Our Armenian heritage includes Armenian rugs that were "literally carried" on the backs of our ancestors during the genocide. These rugs were woven by hand; and sadly also lost in the fire. My mother's 60-year-old violin was burned in the fire. She played her violin often and it brought her so much joy.

<div>Currently my mother's only financial source is social security, which is less than $1,000/month, not enough to live on in Southern California. Fortunately, my brother was able to live with her in the last 6 months after she had knee surgery. However, their housing options now are limited by my brother's job in Santa Monica. Therefore, living expenses are based on Airbnb options nearby. This is what the fundraising amount is based upon. We appreciate all donations that you can contribute. Please share with others.
