<div>This week, our family received news that turned our world upside down. Our mom, Jeanie, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer. What began as a migraine, quickly led to emergency imaging, a brain biopsy and a diagnosis we never expected to face. While we are still processing this life-changing news, we are determined to rally around her with love, prayer, strength and support.

<div>If you know our mom, you know she is the person who shows up for everyone. “Presence is the best present of all,” as her Grama used to say, became her life mantra. Now she needs the same support she has always given so freely to others.

<div>She is goofy, loving, and endlessly kind - the type of person who makes people feel cared for the moment they meet her. She is a devoted mother and proud grandmother whose favorite role of all is being “Gigi.” She loves her grandbabies fiercely, spoils them endlessly and is quite literally their number one fan.

<div>Since her diagnosis, we’ve heard from so many people asking how they can help. All our mom has asked for is prayer. The outpouring of love has been overwhelming and a true reflection of how many lives she has touched.
</div>

<div>She will soon begin an intensive treatment plan that includes radiation and chemotherapy, and we are so grateful for the doctors and staff at Roswell who are caring for her. We are especially thankful to have her boyfriend, Mark, and her brother, Mike, as her personal in-house care team, along with extended family and friends who have stepped in to help clean, visit, bring meals and support us in so many ways.

<div>This diagnosis brings not only emotional strain, but also unexpected financial burden. Our goal is to remove as much financial worry as possible so she can focus on treatment, healing and time with the people she loves.
