Like so many others, she was already navigating the challenges of living paycheck to paycheck in today’s economy. But on April 11, her life was suddenly turned upside down by a tragic and completely unforeseen event.

<div> Jazmin and her oldest daughter were in their car when they were struck by a vehicle driven by an alleged carjacker. Both Jazmin and her daughter sustained injuries serious enough to require hospitalization. What should have been a normal day became a traumatic experience that will impact their lives for years to come. This devastating incident also claimed the life of an innocent bystander, making the tragedy even more heartbreaking for the entire community. Authorities later identified the suspect, who was taken into custody following the incident.

<div> As Jazmin begins the long road to recovery, she is now facing overwhelming medical expenses and the loss of her vehicle—something her family depended on daily. To make matters worse, it was later revealed that the owner of the stolen vehicle was uninsured, leaving Jazmin and her family without coverage for the damages and costs resulting from the crash. Jazmin is a devoted mother who now needs support more than ever. The funds raised will go directly toward medical bills, replacing her vehicle, and helping her family stay afloat during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in helping Jazmin and her children recover, rebuild, and move forward after this tragedy.
