Jason was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday morning and immediately underwent emergency surgery. He ended up having a tear in his colon which caused him to unfortunately have a colostomy bag temporarily. The results show no cancer but he has to have many follow ups due to this life changing event. While the surgery was necessary and lifesaving, his recovery has been more complex than expected, requiring continued hospitalization, monitoring, and follow-up care. The medical team is taking things day by day to ensure he heals safely and fully.

As Jason continues this journey, the medical expenses are still growing. Hospital stays, tests, procedures, medications, and upcoming follow-up care have created an ongoing financial burden. Without insurance, these costs are especially overwhelming, and the stress of mounting bills is making an already difficult time even harder for Jason and our family.
