<div>We received word at the end of July that Jason (a husband, son, little brother, uncle, and friend), had been diagnosed with cancer. If you’re like us, this information will drop you to your knees and take your breath away. But when you get up and decide to accept God's will and begin to fight, the journey becomes a daily walk of prayer for miracles and strength.

<div><strong>We, the family of Jason McBride, are raising money to assist with medical bills, prescriptions, life-changing accommodations and more for Jason &amp; Vanessa as he fights for his life.</strong>

<div>Jason was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at the end of July and began a battle for his life. This journey has involved many procedures and hospital stays that are taking a toll on him and his wife, Vanessa.

<div>As many of you already know, Jason is a well-established fiddle player and has played among the Texas music scene with artists such as Kevin Fowler, Kyle Park, Brian Milson and more for many years. Although Jason graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in Business, he chose the life of music as this has been his lifelong passion. At the age of 11, Jason picked up his first fiddle. Jason follows in the footsteps of generations of amazing trophy-winning McBride fiddle players and has his share of trophies to show for his outstanding talent. Jason is not only an outstanding and talented musician, but he is also one of the most kind-hearted and life-loving individuals we know. To put it simply, he has a heart of gold. If you have had the pleasure of knowing Jason for any amount of time, you know this is true. Jason loves his family and friends and would willingly give the shirt off his back for us at any given moment. And, although this time has been difficult for him, he remains the steady rock he’s always been. He is keeping his head held high, knowing that he’s held in the hands of God.

<div>We ask that you join us in praying for Jason as he continues his fight to healing. We boldly proclaim, in the name of Jesus, that his procedures and treatments will be healing to his body. We want to see Jason with strength and life for years to come! After all, he needs to get back out on the lakes and rivers of Colorado and Texas in his kayak to enjoy the beauty of this land he loves so much.
