Support Jasmine's liver transplant

Christmas 2014, mom started throwing up blood, so we took her to the hospital. After numerous tests, we discovered that she was diagnosed with End Stage Non-Alcoholic Liver Disease. For the last three years, Daniel, Lisa, and myself have been taking her to weekly doctor appointments while she continues to get sicker and sicker. About a year ago she was accepted by UCLA to receive a liver transplant, which we were told was a very difficult list to get on.  In the last month, she has become so sick that she is unable to perform normal daily tasks and is now in critical need of a new liver asap to survive, and can not wait the unpredictable amount of time to receive one in California.  She has become so ill that her doctor petitioned the Louisiana Ochsner Hospital to be able to undergo her transplant there and she was accepted. This hospital is number one in the nation for liver transplants. Patients in the south have much shorter wait times for organs than those on the West Coast, thought to possibly be due in part to the amount of organ donors in the region. They take on some of the most difficult cases in the country meaning you have to be extremely sick. They perform more transplants than any other in the country. The great news is that their survival rate is higher than most. The bad news is that it is very expensive. Not only do we have to relocate my mom to Louisiana early September, my brother Daniel has to quit his job and move with her to be her full time caregiver. We have to pay for housing and care for both of them, as well as my mom's mortgage and bills back home in addition to her life long medications. To top it off, if mom doesn't receive her liver by December, her insurance deductible will start over and the fee jumps up drastically. Needless to say, we are feeling overwhelmed by the funding we need to be able to provide to get mom her new liver.  We are staying positive and hoping for the best possible outcome, but we could definitely use all the help we can get. We will greatly appreciate any help, no matter how small. Of course we need donations but if anyone wants to give their time to care for mom after her transplant that would be immensely appreciated as well. This has been such a difficult past few years for my family, and we are hopeful to see a light at the end of the tunnel. All I want is for my mom to be healthy again and able to enjoy a second chance at life. My mom keeps saying it's all in God's hands, and we really believe he is going to deliver her from this illness.
