Support Janice's Battle Against Cancer

Janice was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma Brain Cancer in January 2021, and is undergoing an aggressive treatment plan.  This same month was also the last of her 12 month short-term health insurance plan, which dropped her from coverage as a result of her illness.

We were able to count this as a qualifying event to get her covered through the Arizona State Retirement System, but her premiums are now almost triple what they were.  Additionally, the former insurer has not yet agreed to pay any of her expenses for January until they perform an investigation into whether this was a pre-existing condition, so out of pocket expenses for Janice's medical needs are yet undetermined.

Any and all financial support helps pay for these extra expenses; lots of extra gas money getting to treatments and appointments; extra foods and supplements to assist with her medications, healing and side effects; and regular living expenses now that Janice is not working and Bob is spending more time caregiving.
