Dear friends and family,

We are reaching out to share the story of our dear friend Jamie Perocchi. In early September, Jamie suffered multiple strokes, and since then, he has been courageously fighting his way back in the ICU at Boston Medical. We are hopeful that Jamie will soon be released to a more stable hospital or rehab facility, but the road ahead will be long and challenging.

To know Jamie is to simply love him. He is one of the most kind-hearted and easy-going people you’ll ever meet, a person who embodies so much genuine goodness in his heart. We know he would be mortified to learn that this GoFundMe is being set up in his name, and that humility is just one of the many reasons we want to support him during this difficult time.

Unfortunately, insurance will only cover so much of Jamie’s medical expenses. Every penny raised through this GoFundMe will go directly towards his mounting medical and ambulance bills, as well as his future rehabilitation efforts. No amount is too small—every little bit will help Jamie as he works to regain his strength and health.
