Jamie, my niece, is facing one of the toughest battles anyone can imagine. She was recently diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, and doctors have told us there is no cure. As if that wasn’t enough, a terrible accident struck when a tree fell on her house, leaving her and her family without a home and taking away most of their belongings. The emotional and physical toll of her illness, combined with the sudden loss of her home, has been overwhelming for Jamie and everyone who loves her.

 Because of her diagnosis, Jamie is unable to work. She is doing everything she can to keep fighting, but she needs help with the basics—food, gas, and the means to get to her chemotherapy appointments. Every day is a challenge, and the costs of living and treatment are adding up quickly.
