Help with Rent – A Fresh Start

Hi, my name is Jamara. About six months ago, I moved into my current home after experiencing a difficult and traumatic situation that made it unsafe for me to stay where I was. Since then, I’ve been doing everything I can to rebuild—from healing emotionally to stabilizing myself financially.

Despite working full-time and recently completing phlebotomy classes to expand my opportunities, I’ve hit a temporary financial setback. I’m actively looking for a higher-paying job, but in the meantime, I’ve fallen behind on rent and I’m at risk of eviction.

I’ve reached out to rental assistance programs, churches and have followed up by phone and email, but unfortunately haven’t received any responses. I also don’t have family or friends I can rely on for support in this season.
