My name is Jake, I grew up in southern NH and still live here today. Throughout my childhood it seemed like forests in this area were endless, and our time as kids was mostly spent exploring them. Life has changed, as we are all aware, and screens have become more dominant than ever, but what also has changed is the physical landscape around us. There are less acres of woodland, and more cul-de-sacs than you can count. My goal is to start a non-profit organization to help with land conservation efforts in the state. I believe that through education, collaboration and fundraising efforts we could make an impact in both preserving traditional outdoor skills and natural habitats.

Through some preliminary research I've learned that starting a non-profit is niether cheap nor simple. There is a decent amount of red tape and legal fees associated with getting a non-profit established. The goal of this gofundme is to help raise funds so that myself and the team I am building have some resources to get things off the ground.
