Support Jade Estrella Rodriguez's Educational Journey

Hello! My name is Jade Estrella Rodriguez, and I’m a junior in college, working hard towards earning my second degree as a first-generation student. I’m incredibly passionate about my education, and I’ve already completed my associate’s degree, which was a major milestone in my life. Now, I’m continuing my journey toward my bachelor’s degree, with the goal of becoming a Psychiatric Social worker. But to keep moving forward, I need your help.

In addition to being a full-time student, I also have the responsibility of being the primary caregiver for my 90-year-old grandmother. Caring for her has been one of the most rewarding yet challenging roles I’ve ever taken on. It requires a lot of my time and energy, but it has also taught me life skills that are invaluable: patience, empathy, and the importance of being there for family.

Balancing school, caregiving, and all of my other responsibilities is no easy feat, especially as a student who is funding my education with the help of my family. I work hard to support myself, with the help of my family, but it’s difficult to earn enough to pay for tuition and class fees. Summer classes are a crucial part of my academic progress, and without the funds to cover them, I risk falling behind.

That’s where you come in. I’m reaching out to my community for help in raising money to cover my summer tuition.
