<div>I’m currently a single 24 year old mother of two beautiful babies, ages 2 years old and 9 months. This isn’t easy for me to write, but I’m at a point where I have to ask for help again.

<div>Over the past year, my life has been turned upside down after experiencing domestic violence. Since then, it’s been extremely difficult to secure stable work or unemployment benefits. I’m starting from scratch all OVER AGAIN, waiting for my children to get a referral for daycare so I can get back on my feet, but finding a job that will match that daycare schedule, I’m applying everywhere I can, but nothing has gotten back to me yet that will make sense.

<div>**Current UPDATE: Right now, we got out of the domestic violence shelter as of 12/19/2025!!! with my two babies — my 2-year-old and my 9-month-old — and we got a 1 bedroom apartment! I hope to continue to rebuild our lives and create a safe and stable future for us as a single mom! Managing it all with no genuine family support! **

<div>The Backstory: I recently had to leave my previous apartment because it became too expensive for me to manage on my own after separating from my abuser/children’s father. My mom helped me as much as she could, but she couldn’t continue, and I wasn’t able to keep up with the rent alone. I also couldn’t get approved for rental assistance because I didn’t have stable income after giving birth to my second child. Their father wasn’t supporting us the way he should, and everything he put me through made it even harder to stay financially stable.

<div>The only support my children were able to receive was daycare, and that was only because of the domestic violence incident that happened for the second time. Because of all of this, staying with family isn’t an option. The environment is toxic, unsafe, and enabling, and the help offered isn’t genuine. I am committed to breaking generational cycles and giving my babies a better life.

<div>I’m asking for help from my community, friends, and anyone with a heart to support us as I work toward getting approved for a new apartment. I’m trying to create a peaceful home where my children can grow and feel safe.

<div>I’m also preparing to start a surrogacy journey in the near future — not only to help another family experience the blessing of a child, but also to build a stronger and more secure future for my own little family. It’s something I’m prayerfully and carefully working toward.

<div>At the moment, I’m relying on SNAP/EBT benefits just to make sure my babies have food, but that only goes so far. I make music and content creation under the name Serenity, but I don’t earn consistent income from it yet or unless people use my affiliate links, An me side hustling to do massages once I get a place again, , and etc..I’m doing everything I can, but this season has been overwhelming.
