<div>i was diagnosed with epilepsy back in early September. bummer. i have been regularly seeing my neurologist at university of penn perelman center for advanced medicine. we figured out, through various eegs (lol that looks like eggs), mris, and trial and error, the right combination of a twice daily cute little white pill that works fairly well, as well as an emergency nasal spray that stops the seizure where it is when i feel it coming and even if it’s already happening.

<div>i recently lost my job…and my insurance. boooo ☹️.

<div>i can’t see my neurologist until i’m covered, way too expensive and i already have unpaid medical bills. that’s okay. penn is working with me to chip away at the debt.

<div>i ask for help with maintaining my schedule with the anti-seizure meds. just for a few months while i (inevitably!) get a new job.
