Jackson Scarborough and his family are beloved members of the Clovis community. While at basketball practice, Jackson began experiencing severe chest pain. Thanks to the quick actions of his coaches and staff, he was rushed to the hospital, where doctors discovered an aortic dissection. Jackson underwent a nine-hour surgery, and we are all incredibly grateful for the medical team’s fast response and expertise.

 The past few days have been filled with uncertainty, but also hope. Jackson’s vitals have been looking good, and he is fighting hard. Each day brings small victories—more movement, responses to voices, and glimpses of the Jackson we all know and love. Pain management is a challenge, but he is making progress, and his family is celebrating every little win. The doctors have encouraged them to fill his room with music, messages, and artwork, so Jackson knows how many people are cheering him on. If you’d like to send something for Jackson’s wall, you can drop it off on their front porch, and they’ll bring it to the hospital.

 The outpouring of support from our community has meant the world to Jackson’s family. Every message, prayer, and act of kindness has lifted their spirits and reminded them that they are not alone in this journey. Jackson’s recovery will be a long journey, and his family is facing significant medical bills and expenses. Donations will help cover these costs and support Jackson’s healing process.
