Support Jackson Runkle and Family

Jackson Runkle, my nephew, has been recently diagnosed with a Grade 4 Glimoa, otherwise known as, a Glioblastoma. This diagnosis came as a shock to his family and friends. Jackson had 90% of his tumor successfully removed at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA on April 17, 2019. After some time for healing, Jackson was transferred to Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE for physical rehab. At duPont, Jackson is getting stronger by the day.  The family will begin treatment at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in the coming weeks. This battle for Jackson will be a marathon, not a sprint.

Jackson and his family will be far from home. The drive from State College, PA to the Philadelphia area is about 3.5 to 4 hours, depending on traffic. Any funds raised will be given directly to Jackson Runkle's family to help cover the cost of things like; gas, tolls, food, lodging, parking or medical expenses. If a monetary donation isn't your style, please consider other ways to help the family by; preparing a meal, lending an ear or any other kind gesture to help show support for the Runkle family.

Keith Conlin, a family friend, is in the process of  setting up a benefit for Jackson Runkle and family. More details will emerge on the benefit in the coming days.
