My name is Chrissy, and I'm creating this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friend, Jackie, with her permission. Jackie's life changed in an instant after she was involved in a devastating hit-and-run accident. The driver responsible fled the scene, leaving her with life-altering injuries and an uncertain road to recovery. As a result of the accident, Jackie suffered multiple fractures in her right arm, extending from her shoulder to her elbow. She has already undergone an extensive surgery to repair the damage and faces several months of recovery, rehabilitation, and physical therapy before she can regain normal function. She continues to meet with specialists as they monitor her progress and determine the next steps in her treatment.

Because the injury is to her dominant arm, Jackie is unable to work for the foreseeable future. Her job requires the use of both of her arms, and this unexpected tragedy has left her without the ability to earn an income while she focuses on healing. Along with the physical pain and emotional trauma of this accident, Jackie is now facing overwhelming financial stress. Medical bills continue to grow, and the costs of surgery, follow-up appointments, rehabilitation, physical therapy, medications, transportation to medical appointments, rent, utilities, groceries, and other everyday necessities are adding up quickly.

Anyone who knows Jackie knows she is one of the most hardworking, kind-hearted, and selfless people you'll ever meet. She has always taken pride in supporting herself and would never ask for help unless she truly had no other choice. That's why I'm asking on her behalf. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping Jackie during her recovery by covering medical expenses, ongoing rehabilitation and physical therapy, prescription medications, rent and monthly living expenses while she is unable to work, transportation to and from medical appointments, and everyday necessities during her recovery.

If you're unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with your family, friends, and social networks. Every donation and every share brings Jackie one step closer to healing without the added burden of financial uncertainty. On behalf of Jackie and everyone who loves her, thank you for your kindness, generosity, prayers, and support during this incredibly difficult time. Your compassion will make an immeasurable difference as she focuses on recovering and rebuilding her life.
