Support Jack and Chase!

For those of you who don't know them, Jack and Chase are partners who live in Milwaukee with their menagerie of perfect pets (love you, Barbara). They're both long-time service industry workers, and recently started their own all-vegan, from-scratch food business, Maya Ophelia's, specializing in Latin and Filipino-inspired everyday comfort foods. They've been throwing successful pop-ups around Milwaukee, in collaboration with places like Cactus Club and Lost Whale. They even sell a selection of their prepackaged goods on Sunday at the Riverwest Gardeners Market (making it accessible to people with EBT cards!).

It's already rare to get access to the kind of healthcare you need working in the service industry; being trans and working for yourself makes it even harder, and more expensive. Both Jack and Chase need top surgery as soon as possible, as their doctors are worried about their prolonged binder use. Getting surgery will also require taking time off from their "day jobs" to recover, which means additional costs.

We're hoping to take as much of the financial burden as we can off of their shoulders, so they can get their surgeries and focus their energy on continuing to grow Maya Ophelia’s.
