Hi, my name is Nina. I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of my friend Ivy. She is doing everything she can to put on a brave face right now, but I know she is terrified and could truly use the support of anyone able.

Ivy is 8 months pregnant and has two kids at home. Unfortunately, Ivy is unexpectedly and suddenly single, on her own, and trying to support her entire family. Due to medical complications and having a high risk pregnancy, she has been unable to work and now with a sudden loss of income, she is in a position of losing her apartment and home by August. Her baby will be delivered via planned c-section in early September. She plans to go back to work in October or as soon as she is able to provide for her family. She really just needs any support she can get until then to keep her family stable.

She is behind on July's rent and does not have August's rent. We have reached out to various organizations for help, but since she is in the mountains, many resources are not accessible. Raising the $3000 needed for rent would ensure Ivy is able to stay in her home as she welcomes her new baby into the world. Any additional funds would go towards September and Octobers rent, utilities, baby supplies, medical expenses, and groceries.
