They are currently in a medically induced coma, receiving necessary medical treatments. Ivy faces a long road to recovery, including extensive reconstructive facial surgery and procedures to repair lung damage.

<div>Ivy is awake! Ivy has received initial care, including incubation and a preliminary stitch-up for the lacerations on their face. They were in the medically induced coma until an operating room became available last night. The doctors woke them up today and the long road to recovery begins.

<div>As many of you know, Ivy is a talented hairstylist at Nice Hair Salon in Walker's Point. To support their recovery, the salon will be hosting a Cut-a-Thon on November 17, where all proceeds from haircuts will go directly towards Ivy's recovery ❤️‍ expenses.

<div>Ivy is improving a little bit every day since surgery. They’ve been working on getting good nutrition and pain management, and have been able to engage in their favorite activity; a nice hot shower.
