Last year, Team Israel made history.

A group of determined young ballplayers from across the country came within two wins of the Little League World Series in Williamsport, reaching the semifinals in Kutno, Poland, and capturing hearts with their grit and determination.

This year, the dream lives on — and a new team from Israel’s South Regions is ready to carry the torch.

Why This Matters Now

In a year marked by challenges and uncertainty in Israel, these kids are a shining example of resilience, teamwork, and hope. Representing the South region of Israel, these 10, 11, and 12-year-old athletes have trained relentlessly and earned the right to wear “Israel” across their chests on the international stage.

From cities and small communities — Jerusalem, Modiin, Kibbutz Gezer, Efrat, Beit Shemesh, and Mevo Beitar — this team reflects the heart of the Israeli spirit: diverse, determined, and united.
