<div>In Gaza, the echoes of bombings and the constant fear of death are our daily companions. My father, the pillar of our family, is absent, leaving my mother to care for my brothers and me alone. Our once-peaceful home has been reduced to rubble, leaving us with no shelter from the violence that surrounds us. The basic necessities of life, such as food and medicine, are scarce commodities, and clean water is a luxury I can only dream of.

<div>At just five years old, I have already tasted the bitterness of illness. Hepatitis ravaged my young body, a consequence of drinking contaminated water. My two-year-old brother, too young to comprehend the world around him, fell victim to intestinal flu. Each day, I mourn the loss of friends and neighbors, innocent souls claimed by the horrors of war. Despite the darkness that envelops us, I cling to the light of childhood, yearning for the simple joys of play and laughter.

<div>I am but a child, bewildered by the cruelty of fate. Why must I suffer? What have I done to deserve such hardship? All I long for is the safety and security enjoyed by children like yours. My family's dream is to escape the violence of Gaza and reunite with loved ones in Egypt. However, the path to freedom is paved with obstacles, chief among them the exorbitant fees demanded by authorities.

<div>I am Wissam Al-Hazin from Gaza. I created the campaign to help my family and get them out of the war to safety in Egypt. I ask my donor friends to help me because during the past period I was disabled due to the war. These are the names of my family:

<div>عندما كنت في الخامسة من عمري فقط، تذوقت مرارة المرض. لقد دمر التهاب الكبد جسدي الصغير نتيجة شرب المياه الملوثة. أخي البالغ من العمر عامين، أصغر من أن يفهم العالم من حوله، وقع ضحية للأنفلونزا المعوية. كل يوم، أشعر بالحزن على فقدان الأصدقاء والجيران، والأرواح البريئة التي حصدتها ويلات الحرب. رغم الظلام الذي يلفنا، إلا أنني أتمسك بنور الطفولة، مشتاقًا إلى متع اللعب والضحك البسيطة.
