Support Ismael's Fight Against Stage 4 Cancer

Hi, this is my father Ismael Resendiz. He has been fighting this cancer since 2011 going through multiple surgeries. Unfortunately he got diagnosed with stage 4 cancer over a year ago and had to undergo chemotherapy which caused a huge toll on him and his body. During his therapies he slowly started losing feeling in his legs. While in Mexico he started declining rapidly losing his ability to walk. It took weeks to be seen by a doctor in Mexico who finally did an mri and found out that his tumor was growing and compressing a nerve in his spine. He went into surgery and they removed the tumor but he unfortunately was still not able to walk. He’s currently undergoing physical therapy to learn how to walk again and is in a wheelchair unable to travel back to the United States. We are asking for help to help pay for his treatments and therapies to help him with his recovery and help him walk again. My dad is such a strong man and will not give up. Hola, este es mi padre Ismael Resendiz. Ha estado luchando contra este cáncer desde 2011 pasando por múltiples cirugías. Desafortunadamente, le diagnosticaron cáncer en etapa 4 hace más de un año y tuvo que someterse a quimioterapia, lo que le causó un gran costo para él y su cuerpo. Durante sus terapias, poco a poco comenzó a perder la sensibilidad en sus piernas. Mientras estaba en México, comenzó a declinar rápidamente perdiendo su capacidad para caminar. Tardó semanas en ser visto por un médico en México que finalmente le hizo una MRI y descubrió que su tumor estaba creciendo y comprimiendo un nervio en su columna vertebral. Fue operado y le extirparon el tumor, pero desafortunadamente todavía no podía caminar. Actualmente se está sometiendo a fisioterapia para aprender a caminar de nuevo y está en una silla de ruedas incapaz de viajar de regreso a los Estados Unidos. Estamos pidiendo ayuda para pagar sus tratamientos y terapias para ayudarlo con su recuperación y ayudarlo a caminar de nuevo. Mi padre es un hombre tan fuerte y no se rendirá.
