Help Ira Sol Get the Care He Needs

We are reaching out for support to help Ira Sol, a bright and loving 3.5-year-old who has been struggling with persistent health issues since October 1, 2024, when he returned from a 10-day trip to Tennessee with his father, his father’s partner, and his half sister.

Upon his return, Ira’s father enrolled him in a rigorous 5-day preschool program, drastically altering his sleep schedule and first meal of the day. Since then, Ira’s health has steadily declined, and he has battled eczema-like skin rashes, allergies, prolonged respiratory illness, ear infections, and encopresis. Despite being under the compulsory school age in New York State, his father continues to enforce daily school attendance, even through harsh winter conditions—ignoring Ira’s low energy, distress, and repeated pleas to stay home and rest.

For four months, Ira has consistently told his mother, Elisa, how unhappy he is at preschool, expressing discomfort with the teacher, the program itself, and the “bad guy food” on offer there. When he is with his mother, Elisa prioritizes his health and well-being, keeping him home when he is sick and allowing him to engage in gentle play with his friends when he feels up to it. However, Ira’s father has now filed for full custody, alleging that Elisa refuses to take Ira to preschool—completely disregarding Ira’s ongoing health struggles.

Your generous contributions will fund functional medical testing at WHOLE WELLNESS Functional Medicine Lab in Rochester, NY, helping Elisa uncover the root causes of Ira’s prolonged illness and provide medical evidence to protect his well-being.

Lab Fees & Medical Support Costs:
