Support Indie Doco - The Lost Tribe of Hokkaido

We are in the midst of creating an independent feature length documentary called "The Lost Tribe of Hokkaido."

The film explores the fascinating story of the indigenous people of Hokkaido called the Ainu. The Ainu are an indigenous people who are native to Hokkaido, the northernmost island of Japan. For centuries, they have lived in isolation and have preserved their own unique culture, language, and way of life. Despite this, the Ainu have faced a long history of discrimination and oppression, with many of their traditional practices and beliefs suppressed. The documentary aims to celebrate the rich ancestral traditions, spiritual beliefs, captivating arts, mesmerizing music, and unique cultural identity of the Ainu.

We believe that this documentary has the potential to not only educate and inform viewers about the Ainu, but also to promote greater understanding and appreciation of indigenous cultures around the world.

We're thrilled to share that we've made significant progress with the filming of "The Lost Tribe of Hokkaido," having completed 50% of the project before the challenges posed by Covid halted principal filming in December 2019. However, we need your support to bring this documentary to the finish line. We kindly invite you to check out our teasers at https://www.thelosttribeofhokkaido.com/film-teasers to get a glimpse of the compelling story we're sharing and consider making a financial contribution to help us complete the final phase of filming.

As an independent production, we are relying on support from individuals and organizations like you to make this film a reality. We believe that your support would be invaluable to us, and we would be honored if you would consider making a donation to our project.

Every donation, no matter how small, will help us to cover the costs of pre-production, filming, post-production, and distribution.

We would be grateful for your support in making "The Lost Tribe of Hokkaido" a reality. If you are interested in contributing to our project, your donation would be deeply appreciated.
